There is an important character who is black and he has a black wife and son. There is a gay recurring background character and an episode on “Robosexual marriage”, or marriage between a robot and a human, which is a thinly veiled metaphor for gay marriage. One of the most important characters is a woman. There is a homeless character. There is a robot with psychosis, and several scenes in a mental institution for robots.
