I Wish You All The Best is a story about a nonbinary teen, Ben, who comes out to their parents and then gets kicked out. They move in with their sister and switch to a different school, where they make new friends and possibly find romance.
This book touched a lot on mental health, specifically anxiety/anxiety attacks and depression. The main character is queer/bi and nonbinary, and the love interest is Black. There’s also representation from the three main friend side-characters. One is Black, one is Korean-American, and one is nonbinary, muslim, and pansexual. The story mainly follows Ben, so while there is representation in their friend group, those stories don’t really get explored in any detail.
